Remy and Friends, a husband and wife team, ministers the simple gospel of the Lord to young hearts. They use humor and visual perfomance skills that hold childrens attention for fun spritually powerful presentations.

A New Beginning Together

In November of 1995 my wife was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness called breast cancer. Tests revealed an extremely large mass and the doctors gave very little hope to us. The next six months proved to be the most difficult we had ever faced. Through aggressive chemotherapy, friends, and much prayer, God saw fit to spare her life. (Psalms 3:2" O Lord my God, I cried unto you, and you healed me")

In the summer of 1998 I began to experience chest pains, which were diagnosed as stress related, due primarily to Sue's earlier illness. I was informed by the doctor to reduce my stress level soon or expect serious problems in the near future. For years I had the desire to be in business for myself and now the time seemed right to take that important step. So I left my 55-60- hour-a-week job and Remy & Friends moved from a dream to a reality. Sue and I started with 3 puppets, a balloon pump, and the joy of working together. I am pleased to report that Sue is doing fine and is the best face-painter I know.

Remy & Friends has now been in the entertainment business since 1998. It has quickly developed into a multi-faceted production using a variety of visual performance skills. I have taken the necessary steps to becoming a serious performer and entertainer. New vent figures have been added along with juggling, illusions, and balloon sculpting to enhance show impact. I can now target each audience with age-appropriate quality entertainment.
